| TiltedCircle 2007-05-10 12:29:40 | Im new so im a bit confused. I just sent an invoice to a friend/client of mine, but now that I think of it, how will the client/friend pay the invoice and how will i receive the $$$? Maybe im overlooking something. LOVE the product though. very nice site. Is this in Ruby On Rails & Ajax?? HOTNESSS!!! |
| jdenton 2007-05-10 19:42:38 | Hey, thanks for the post TiltedCircle. For the near future, CPO invoicing will work the old fashioned way - you create an invoice, send it via email or print it out and send it postal and your client/friend (if they're nice) puts a check in the mail to you upon receipt of the invoice.
I've had a couple of other users request Pay-Pal integration but I have some concerns about that. Once CPO starts 'handling' other people's money, if something goes wrong in a transaction my butt's on the line in a big way. That's my thought right now anyway so I'll need to give this a lot of thought. I'm not promising anything, but possibly by mid-summer of '07 I could have a solution sorted out. As to your dev question, CPO is a PHP/MySQL/Ajax app - no Rails here. Nothing against Rails, per se...I'm just more comfortable with PHP right now. I'm glad you're enjoying it so far. I appreciate the comment! |
| tarekgasmi 2007-05-30 08:34:32 | How to introduce payements in reference to invoices. |
| deeve007 2007-11-08 16:35:18 | You have to add something for payment method, otherwise it's just a nice toy without so much professional use. Even just a formatted text area (allowing bold, italic ...etc) where someone can add a link and text. |
